the National Fire Protection
Association, 472 Standard for
Professional Qualifications, 2002 Edition.
Requirements:

Candidates
shall
be at least 18 years of age.

The
Hazardous Materials
Awareness Level examination
includes portions of three(3) subjects requiring the successful
completion of cognitive (written) skill and manipulative (practical)
skills. Written examinations require 70% or greater overall average and
manipulative skill examinations are averaged together with the student
receiving the grade of "P" for passing if successful.
