Description:
A person at the Industrial Fire Brigade Member - Incipient will have the skills and knowledge to operate a portable fire extinguisher, operate a handline and nozzle flowing 125 gpm, understand limitations and exit hazardous area when appropriate, operate appropriate communication equipment for facility, activate emergency notification systems, activate built in fire protection systems, use ground ladders, salvage equipment, emergency lighting, and clean and maintain all equipment, conduct a pre-incident survey of a facility, operate as a member of a team within the Incident Command System and following established SOP's.
Requirements for Certification:
Candidates shall be at least 18 years of age
Complete a practical skills examination with a "Passing" score
Complete an 80 question written examination with a passing score of 70% or higher
