Description:

Firefighter II will demonstrate the knowledge and ability to assume command of an incident scene in the absence of an officer and transfer command, coordinate the attack of an interior structure fire under an incident commander, control a flammable liquids fire and a liquid petroleum gas cylinder, preserve evidence, complete a fire report, test fire hose, maintain equipment and perform vehicle extrication.

Requirements for Certification:

Candidates shall be at least 18 years of age

Complete a practical skills examination with a “Passing” score

Complete an 100 question written examination with a passing score of 70% or higher
