Lacy Crow began his career in the fire service in 1962 as a volunteer and paid firefighter with the Philadelphia, MS fire department. He also worked as paid chief of Neshoba County Volunteer Fire Department. In 1980, Lacy moved back to Louisiana and joined the Norco Area Volunteer Fire Department, where he is still an active member. He has served as president, line captain, training officer, fire investigator, fire prevention, and firefighter.
Mr. Crow began working at FETI as a handoff and adjunct instructor around 1990, and joined the staff as a regional Instructor in 1999. His certifications include: Firefighter I, II, & III, Instructor I & II, Driver Operator, Fire Investigator, Fire Inspector I, Fire Officer I, Hazardous Material Awareness and Operations.
Lacy is currently working on a degree in fire technology while in Mississippi. He has obtained other training from Mississippi State Fire Academy, LSU Fire and Emergency Training, FDIC, and the NFA.
