Jessy Hutchinson graduated from Louisiana State University in 2002 with a degree in mass communication and a minor in art history.  During her time at the university, she was employed as a student worker in the telecommunications business office of the Office of Computing Services.  After graduating, she worked temporarily at LSU Office of Computing Services, as well as other LSU departments.  Jessy was hired at LSU Fire and Emergency Training Institute in June 2004.  She is now the director’s assistant, and is responsible for registering students for courses at LSU FETI.  She also handles all human resource management duties for the department.

In her spare time, Jessy fences with the Baton Rouge Fencing Club.  She is nationally ranked E06 in foil, and is now working on her epee skills.
